Phase One: June 2002 - Sept 2002
- Research proposal developed further in preparation for the peer
review exercise to be conducted in October 2002
- Project re-named and key areas of activity (modules) developed
- The establishment of BE4's administrative and management infrastructure:
development of contacts database
- confirmation of steering group members, partners & advisers
- scheduling of meetings for duration of project
- monthly progress reports
- scheduling of half-yearly progress reports (including finance
reports) for our funders
- conference, publication & future funding strategy initiated
- BE4 leaflets for service providers and participants created and
reproduced (in English in the first instance) for dissemination in
October 2002
- Logo for non-website material created
- BE4 website designed for launch in October 2002
- Additional formal and informal support secured from research and
teaching staff at the University of Glamorgan (Professor Joyce Kenkre
& Jim Richardson respectively)
- Application for the post(s) of Research Assistant and data collectors
submitted for approval in order for posts to be advertised in October
2002
- Meetings with members of the steering group and representatives
of key statutory and non-statutory organisations:
